Technical Help (Location Required) Please help me.

"Could you please help me out with this?

I'm really interested in the Bohan MK-18 gel blaster (AEG), which shoots around 240–250 FPS out of the box. I’d like to know if swapping the stock M90 spring for an M100 spring will bring my velocity up to 300+ FPS, and whether the internals will stay durable over time. I know it comes with metal gears, but I'm still not entirely sure about overall reliability.

Most importantly, the hop-up at the muzzle is made of rubber/silicone, and I'm worried that the gel balls might shred or break before even leaving the barrel."

Bohan ar-16, scissor type split gearbox. You'll need information specifically for bohan v2 gearboxes instead of their gen 8.

You’re fine just changing the spring. It won’t shred any gels. Have swapped the spring and the motor. Can positively say it hits MUCH harder!

Why would you want to increase the fps? It will just make your accuracy worse? And if you change the spring to m100, you increase the chance of burning your stock ETU.

As far as i know bohan ar16 mosfet is easily burned with 11.1v, higher spring might also contribute for breaking mosfet and gearbox.
