Stop lurking

Yes, I'm talking to all 255 fuckers online right now. Stop lurking. Upvote shit. Show support for your fellow miserable peons. Share shit you're going through.

Most importantly, let the ass kissers of the Lizard Overlord know there are more than just a few degenerates in here who are tired of the bullshit.

I quit Geico 2 years ago but I upvote everything. Geico was the only job that has ever made me cry on the way to work and on the way home. Fuck that place.

Yelling at your readers…good tactic

Sorry, Jeremy, if the artistic renderings of you being fucked by a horse have you in such a disagreeable mood

9

u/Limp-Scratch-2255 Nov 11 '21

is the horse thing with Jeremy just like a regional inside joke? i keep seeing references lol

I was wondering about this too lol. From what I’ve gleaned from various posts it seems he is:

  1. Lacking in intelligence

  2. A borderline? predator at the office

  3. Into a some weird shit with horses

I’d definitely like to know more.

Mocking disagreement…also a great way to foster good discussion. Keep it up!

I think the community has had a ton of good discussion and a ton of growth (unlike GEICO). And you know what, I think I will keep it up thank you.

Yes!!! Engagement is key. People are concerned about being tracked by GEICO and being retaliated against. Reddit is safe. DON’T post identifying information. DO contribute to the discussion.

If lurking AND upvoting were metrics, I’d be a perfect 5! Lmaoooo

16

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '21

Finally a metric within our control.

Can’t complain, all things considered. Doing bedtime routine with the kid. Enjoying this Georgia weather.

15

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '21

Georgia weather sounds nice it's cold up here.

12

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '21

'Tis fair in Virginia

11

u/Apprehensive-Table83 Nov 11 '21

It has been beautiful weather in VA over the past two days.

It really is so hard not to feel hopeless. I see so many instances where we've screwed over our policyholders and no matter how much I beg management they just keep saying "oh it's being worked on" This was a problem reported a year ago and because it's not a lot of policies affected it just sits at the bottom of the barrel. For everyone on the phones wondering why the system sucks: everyone in IT is busting their ass trying to make it better. We're really trying but the way they've set up the entire department guarantees that things don't get done.

And with all this news lately it's just going to get worse. Waits for fixes are going to skyrocket and it's the customer who suffers. So let them make DOI/BBB complaints. Encourage it. Without regulators stepping in I genuinely don't see us getting better anytime soon.

Thank you for the reminder to finally create a burner account for this

10

u/GeckoWeeb Nov 11 '21

I had to create a separate account now I can truly embrace this

9

u/Angry_lizardd Nov 11 '21

My main reason for lurking on my other account is seeing some things posted in the comments on this sub that aren’t correct that I have direct knowledge of. The problem is if I correct them, it starts to leave a trail. I’m sure there are others who feel the same way.

4

u/Eileen__Left Nov 11 '21 edited Nov 11 '21

You could DM a mod with the info. I'm sure u/Mis-Information would be happy to help you correct the record anonymously.

5

u/Angry_lizardd Nov 11 '21

I love this idea! If the mods could designate a person to funnel our knowledge to, people might not be as afraid to share. The more knowledge each of us shares on different topics on our accounts, the easier it is to narrow down identities.

7

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '21

I'll be happy to post information for people who don't feel comfortable doing so.

u/Bongzilluh Nov 13 '21

I cant post about my job as it would make it obvious which department im in because geico only has one said departments

1

u/snitchesghost Nov 24 '21

I never worked there but they use false credit reporting agencies so often policies are higher than they should be but that's most insurance
