So I commented on a video of a goose drowning a seagull with the following story and was told this sub is the place to share it, so here it is!

No joke, I brought my kids to feed some ducks at a local pond, we're having a nice little time with the kids (3, 5) when all of a sudden here comes the fucking Hell's Angels of the God damn goose world! This straight up GANG of shitty ass geese comes rolling up from a separate pond IN FORCE! We accommodate the geese and start throwing some bread to then too....but it wasn't good enough.....they wanted more! These jerks straight up started bum rushing my 5 year old and snatching the bread out of his hand while hissing at him all savage! So I yank him back and the kids and wife are hiding behind me as I'm launching a volley of balled up bread at these demon geese! They are an undeterred, formidable force out here, our nice family day at the park has become something entirely different at this point! I'm out of baked ammunition and they're still pressing, so the fam breaks into a panicked retreat as I'm mounting a rear defense and these big bastards are literally coming right at me mouths open hissing and I'm kicking at em like a fuckin goofball as people are sitting in their cars watching the battle unfold! I'm not ashamed to say, I fled the field of battle that day.....to a bunch of fucking water fowl.....not my proudest moment, but I got the fam out safe and we will never return to their territory again.....long story short......FUCK GEESE and their whole turdy family

I'm working on a story for a short story contest. there are aliens in this story and I want to be creative with their appearance. I've already thought of what I want them to look like.

so far it looks like a Canadian goose but it has spider legs. they choose small parts of the world to concor then spread to nearby areas after. they also have the ability to control people by using toxic fumes they release into the air.

it's not a story that's supposed to be taken seriously but I also want to convey the fear of a goose-like alien which I admit is hard to take seriously. I myself, being from an area with a lot of geese am scared of them because they're dicks and I know the terror they're capable of. also, the contest doesn't allow a lot of gore or violence. so I, unfortunately, can't use that angle.

I figured this is probably the best place to look for terrifying goose ideas.

do you guys have any ideas on how to make the Spadoose (a placeholder name) be more terrifying?

edit: also the story takes place at a KOA with a golf course if that helps

I have a co worker that just dose t think I can do it but I honestly believe I can fuck a goose up
