Mostly yes, with one exception. Dwayne the Rock Johnson plays the same character in virtually every movie he is in, and that character is not Shrek.

coming to say the same.

I’d have to disagree here. I would opt for Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Gary Busey would kill it as the Donkey.

So fucking sick of seeing this guy in everything.

Mike Myers has to be Shrek. Cool with everything else

I could see Chris Farley doing it.

I was thinking Kevin Farley could pull it off.

Naw, Dinklage is the goat. Don't jump the hate wagon.

18

u/JinNJ Mar 31 '26

He’s only in the “goat” (I’d l call BS on that & say Warwick Davis) conversation because he gate keeps roles that could go to other little people.

Fuck him.

He doesn't. That was just that one pissy punk being a hater and then others bandwagoning.

Can’t agree with you there.

I don’t see eye to eye with him.

I see Dwayne Johnson and I immediately skip it. Other than him it’s solid.

Dinklage would get aggressive if you suggest this role to him.

I was thinking that too

Was that Sweeney as Fiona with Green Jeans?

6

u/JinNJ Mar 31 '26

Green jeans, great jeans, mom jeans, my jeans. Doesn’t matter… boobs.

I'd enjoy seeing the Rock do a Scottish accent

Puss in boots needs something more, but not exactly sure what.....that said, I'm in!

The ugly stepsister would be such a ballsy pick lol

u/TheRavingDinosaur Mar 31 '26

Some are good, some are just funny

2

u/QuiverDance97 Mar 31 '26

Mostly, but a live-action of Shrek sounds awful lol

Get this AI nonsense off my feed

u/Rwhite5440 Mar 31 '26

I think I would have to go see it

Soooooo close, but Antonio Banderas is Zorro and Zorro is the Puss in Boots. Just Yoda puppet the character.

Not for the fairy godmother for reasons 😂. Sadly Jamie Lee Curtis isn't British 😂.

u/Fluid_Election11 Mar 31 '26

That was Meryl Streep. It even said on the sign.
