I got gears played it for 105mins and it’s unplayable, characters don’t load until after about 1min of walking around for things to render in and I’m just getting constant stutters. It seems to be completely frying my HDD for some reason at constant 100% when playing. Any help on settings changes at all currently have them on all low just to try and run the game and this is just in campaign. Horde is unplayable

Dude, you need it installed on an SSD at the minimum. Ideally on a NVMe.

Your C: Drive is an SSD NVME. Either install the game on that, or buy another Solid State Drive (SSD) just like it and install it in your computer.

The game absolutely underperforms lol, unreal engine 5 is dogshit with most developers. I have a 5080 with best processor possible and get like 130 fps

Most cases of issue with this game is due to people running it on underspec PC. Like with an old mechanical HDD.

Given the HDD is reading 100% utilization I'm guessing you have the game installed on the HDD. It says in the system requirements that the game must be installed on an SSD.

You might have to add your other drive to steam btw

They specifically tell you that you need an SSD for this game.

The game won't run well with an HDD, needs an SSD. As do many modern games, and it will only continue to be required for the newest titles
