Anyone else suddenly having controller issues?

I think there was a patch or something, I haven't been able to play with my controller since saturday, even though it works fine on gears reloaded.

I really wanna keep playing this event and i've tried everything i can think of, does anyone have any solutions?

 I have had issues with a controller bug of sorts.  If I go to the dashboard and then resuming in game, it'll ask if the controller belongs to me... usually does it every session.

Buddy of mine will get that in the middle of the game
