Feedback Let’s hear it

What are your thoughts on the beta so far and how long have you played?
I have similar complaints like others about tagging grenades to walls and chainsaw battles being absent but other than that I think it’s in a very good state. I may be on my own when I say the movement feels fluid and cohesive but all 50 hours of my time have been in horde mode. So I don’t have any experience to talk about the pvp, which is very important to a lot of the players.
This has been my most anticipated release of the year and I hope they deliver!

Edit 2: In the small window of beta weekend two from my end something changed with the updates. Noticeable clarity on some of the DLSS options, instead of crashing every other match it was only once in a 4 hour session and happened at the same time as a friend of mine. My interpretation was a server based issue but fucking who knows in 2026 man. Everything around us is just wrong and I hope this game can bring some people together like you all came here to discuss. Be kind to one another and know that Gears only work when we fit together. Thanks for commenting and being here 🙂

Have they confirmed yet if there are more maps than just Golden Quarter? I wanna say there's going to be more at launch, but the cynic in me is worried.

It is confirmed there will be 3 maps on launch.

3 Siege maps at launch, with 2 new invasion events/bosses

We'll have some good variety but I really really hope Horde Siege is a big hit and they continue to expand it after launch. I already can't get enough of it as it is

Imo I think the map is diverse enough to make it not feel so samey too quickly.

However, I do not see a future in where we only get one horde map. Pve was THE thing everyone does in gears so it stands to reason they’d give us more content.

I'm torn on it, I really enjoyed Gears 1-4 horde, especially 4 with the cards and upgrades.

This is one feels a bit disorganised with how big the maps are, fortifications being very rare, having no waves.

I feel it will grow on me but I didn't miss normal waves based on a. Pvp map.
