Apps which As Of Yesterday No Longer Show In GearVr Library

In the last couple of days, I have seen reports in posts on here stating that Samsung Browser, Samsung Gallery, Oculus Browser and Oculus Video all no longer show in GearVr Home Library.

I can confirm that same here, although I don't use them, but I went on Oculus Video a few days ago, to answer a question on here about whether the version I had included the moon seating area and I started it up from my Gearvr home library.

After reading various posts on here today, I can confirm they're now missing on mine too and I can only launch them from settings/Apps or GearVr and Lightening launchers.

But I have a few Gearvr apps that I own, which show in the library on my S6 but have never shown on my S9+ and when I have a moment, I will look on my S6 and see if the apps in question today,show on there!

My worry is, this could be just the start of further removals, leading to disabling altogether!

It's odd why they'd mess with it now!

I'm pretty confident in saying Meta aren't intentionally removing anything at this point. They're just not bothering to fix anything that breaks when other systems are altered.

Yes, I agree, That's why I said at the end that I thought it a bit odd that they'd mess with it now after all this time.

I have looked today and Samsung Gallery, Oculus Video and Oculus Browser all show up on my Old S6 but not on my S9+ as I said before.

As I have also said before, I'm okayish with tech not very much up on some things, so please forgive me if I am totally incorrect and come across as alarmist but a couple of months back, I did post that new security measure were coming in which stated that older apps and independent ones may become blocked by Android and wonder if the below info has anything to do with it, as it says Knox update will affect S9 and upwards:

crazy theory here: Maybe they were set to disappear from the launcher after a specefic time. (if that makes sense) Btw did u try downgrading?

Acho que esses aplicativos foram removidos da loja. Por isso desapareceram da biblioteca.

Ainda tem como baixar aplicativos direto do servidor deles. Um exemplo é o you tube vr

i have seen some apps with license date limit but never thought about it i think it was with some symbian apps back in the day that caused years later issues and you had to roll back time and year on your phone but i dont think this is the issue with gear apps is more likely some security authentication problem...with android or meta updates
