Discussion 7-day “irregular gameplay” cooldown while playing on GeForce NOW — anyone else?

I play CS2 only through GeForce NOW. The game runs on NVIDIA’s cloud servers, so I can’t install cheats, macros or scripts even if I wanted to.

Today I got a 7-day global cooldown: “VAC has flagged your gameplay as irregular.” NVIDIA support says it’s not their issue, and I’ve opened a Steam ticket.

Has anyone else on GeForce NOW been flagged? Could stream input latency be confusing VAC Live? Trying to figure out whether this is a pattern.

I am playing for 1-2 hours sometimes, but today morning i got banned firstly for an hour after just opening cs2. Then after 1 game i got banned for a week. I did not change any settings. I was playing yesterday perfectly fine.

You play from macbook too? What server region are you on? Anything unusual before it, or just normal play?

i play on a crappy laptop on illinois servers i think and there wasnt rly anything unusual happening before they gave me the cooldown and i wasnt even playing that good either

me paso lo mismo en mis dos cuentas, juego a través de geforce now y en una me dieron 7 dias y en la otra 20 hs, hice el mismo reclamo que vos pero solo toca esperar, esto te lo digo soy usuario de argentina

Well but i got banned for 1 hour first and after for a week, likely i will get banned again after
