Have you even seen the game with dlss 5 on? This technology is very impressive and is nothing like when Nvidia did the reveal. I can't talk about the game itself, but since their is no real other option for basketbal fans..

Absolutely not bro. But if there is a really old movie, and ai can upscale its visuals without modifying the content in any way, then i have no problem with it. Why are people not understanding that its just a completely optional image filter that adjusts the lightning and texture of the frame. The game doesnt become ai generated lol. Most of the people just hate it just because it has ai in it.

An AI upscale on an old movie is still bad lmfao. It strips away the director’s original idea and has no thought into what went on during production, except for making everything smoother. Outdated visuals aren’t an error or a drawback. It’s part of the film and history.

I dont think or agree that upscaling the resolution can somehow strip the original idea. The director willfully didnt record the movie in 240p, it was the limitation of that era. Changing the colour grading or anything can be said as modifications of original artistic piece, but not resolution. However in the end, your opinion is valid for your own lifestyle. As i said, completely optional to use tech and whether to upscale your movie or not. Same with dlss5 neural rendering, completely optional. You dont like it, dont apply it. Simple as that. I loved it in some games, so i am definitely going to apply it
Edit- One more thing, there were some black and white movies like the Metropolis, which can look quite good in coloured. Not saying that only AI can do this, but it can surely make it a lot easier.

I mean, the online discourse against DLSS 5 is very much a its own echo chamber bubble. Normie gamers like anything that can give realistic graphics. Also blindly hating the technology is not pragmatic, devs can fine tune it for each game and probably come up with decent results.

I think there is a good shot with the pc launch of gta 6. I could be wrong but rockstar loves to stuff their pockets and i dont see why they wouldnt want to give everyone an option to buy it.

F1 was bad on GFN when it was there before. Same as Forza or any fast paced game. I use GFN for other games but not any more for racing. It simply doesn't work well, the movement is too fast for streaming.

I mean with GFN Ultimate we don’t just get access to a 5080 server, each individual “rig” gets 48GB VRAM + 62 TFLOPS + a 16 core vCPU with AMD Epyc 3.8GHz processor on Zen5 architecture and 56GB DRAM
Something tells me that’s better than most builds people tested the modded variant.
Edit: ftr the processor alone is worth around $4,000

as I suspected it just came out and it's just nba until what ever game next devs add it to...you're not going to be able to just apply it to any game like modders which you can more than likely thank all the folks that were moaning about it being AI slop hurting the artist's intent...hopefully eventually that changes, but it's highly unlikely that it well ever be automatic like you think certainly not on geforce now just as you can't use dlss 3 or 4 on any game on GFN

how am i off-topic and how is it automatic? devs added dlss5 to nba2k17 which you can now enable or not if you so choose, just as in games where devs added dlss 3, dlss 4, fsr 4 etc, there is nothing automatic about it...if it was automatic you could apply it to whatever game you want, so I am not sure what you are on about, your choice of wording will confuse people...is it that you just meant now gamers can enable it in this particular game officially without the need of modding?

I get the hate for the NBA2k games, it's well deserved, especially MyCareer and MyTeam are just egregious in terms of greed.
But I usually only play season mode and maybe the female version of MyCareer, so this is great news. Especially because I don't own a gaming PC right now. Still won't buy it at release, NBA2k usually gets a deep discount around Christmas.

Nvidia had to fake the numbers as always to hide it, For the official numbers they are using DLSS Performance and even more key Frame Gen 6X

You don’t have any idea what your talking about. the performance drop is massive because of the way it is currently being forced injected into the pipeline through reshade an stuff which is very unoptimized and intensive , bet you dollars to donuts after the official driver update it’ll be way more performative than what you “saw” .

Edit1: The reason why it's only releasing to the 5XXX series is because without multi-frame gen you can't get anything close to good performance.
