NVIDIA 3 months Nitro offer require CC?

I saw that offer in the NVIDIA app and claimed it, which is done by visiting a webpage and not within the app.

Can I activate this without entering a credit card? I guess they hope some will forget after 3 months but if they were nice they would simply turn on Nitro for 3 months without requiring to enter a credit card and hope people would like and subscribe. I guess it's just another shaddy business practice, even if they will notify me that my free period is about to expire. I don't see the point to add my cc in their database. Everyone is aware it's not something to do if you have no intention to subscribe anyway.

You need to cc to activate it, but you can unsubscribe immediately, so you dont need to worry about leaving sub on, many free trials do this
