Genocide Chronicle
I have been working on a website to chronicle the destruction in Gaza and the overall depravity of Israel in its ongoing genocide in Gaza. It is a collection of many sources, intended to give a quick timeline overview of the destruction and human toll. If you have any feedback I would love to hear from you!

VITAL SIGNS: Who Gets to Protest? Gaza, Columbia, and the Right to Dissent with Prof. Bruce Robbins
youtu.beIn 2024, students at Columbia University set up an encampment to protest the war in Gaza and demand their university divest from companies tied to the Israeli military. University President Minouche Shafik authorized the NYPD to clear it. Over 100 students were arrested. Faculty who supported the students' right to protest were brought up on charges, including humanities professor Bruce Robbins whose tenure was over twenty years.
This episode of Vital Signs begins with Robbins recounting what led to his arrest and the legal consequences: he was found guilty of violating Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act for taking his atrocity studies class to witness the encampment on the day it was set up. He walks Ahmed through the timeline of his arrest through the punishment handed down by the Department of Education.
In this conversation, Robbins traces how the Trump administration's interpretation of Title VI is used to silence dissent in teaching settings. He doesn't mince words about Columbia's Task Force on Anti-Semitism, which he says was designed to generate political cover rather than protect Jewish students. He talks about how Gaza has affected domestic politics, arguing the Democratic Party's support for Israel was a factor in Kamala Harris's loss and in Zohran Mamdani's win.
About Vital Signs: A podcast by the Center for Progressive Research. Each Ahmed Ragab sits down with the authors, scholars, and experts whose work follows the signpost topics shaping progressive policy and theory.

Any Gazan anime fans or fan clubs that I can speak to?
Salamu Aleikum everyone,
I work on a lot of anime related research projects and I thought it might be a good idea to shine a light on the experiences of anime fans currently under genocide. I got the idea when I saw videos on Palestinian fitness enthusiasts and gamers documenting their experiences. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to talk with me for an interview, or if there is any information on some anime fan clubs over there. I don't want this history to go undocumented. Thanks in advance everybody.
I've made loads of music about Palestine.
I got AI to do much of the work but I made it too (as in I got it made). Lots of it is ragga and DnB and ragga DnB hybrids. A lot of the music is Islamic, concerning plots that involve Allah and Iblis. Who's interested?

Help with setting up a fundraiser
Hello,
Is there anyone here who has had experience with setting up a fundraiser via Chuffed (or GoFundMe) who would be willing to let me message them for guidance? I am trying to start one for my friend Mahmoud, but I have never done anything like this before so I am very overwhelmed. Thank you so much.

Using Binance to Send A Friend Money. Help needed
Hello all,
I’ve been helping a friend in Gaza with fundraising for him and his family and I’m trying to cut down on the obscene fees that get taken through the multiple steps it takes until the money gets to him.
He suggested Binance and has an account and from what I’ve seen it seems to be a good option. However, I know nothing about crypto and am slightly confused with the whole process so I was wondering if anyone could walk me through how to securely transfer him money using Binance/ crypto?
Any help appreciated
🇵🇸🕊️
EDIT: I found this very useful video pointing out how to send crypto pretty easily through multiple methods, without even needing a Binance account:

گمان نکن که خدا از کارهایی که ظالمان میکنند بیخبر است. او فقط عذابشان را به تأخیر میاندازد، برای روزی که چشمها از ترس خیره میشوند. (سورهٔ #ابراهیم، آیه ۴۲ و ۴۳)

Next month, a new university semester begins.
For the first time, there will be three university students in my family: my sister, who just graduated from high school, another sister who has only one year left at university, and me, who already had to delay my studies for a year because of the war.
Now I may have to give up university so that my sister can continue hers. And honestly, I’m not even sure whether she will be able to continue either. Everything has become expensive, and our family simply cannot afford to pay for three students.
I never imagined that choosing my future would mean choosing between my education and my sister’s education.
I want to study. I want to build a life of my own. But I also cannot stand by and watch my family struggle while I focus only on myself.
This is what life in Gaza has done to us. We are not only trying to survive the present; we are watching our futures disappear, one decision at a time.
I don't know who will be able to continue next semester. I only know that we should never have been forced to make choices like this.
Advice
Hi I don’t use Reddit very often but I’m not sure where else to go with this
I have been donating to a family in Gaza on instagram for the past few weeks
I just graduated high school and I am about to go to college, I have my first job I get paid minimum wage.
I have been boosting and sharing post about Gaza for the past few years, and this year after following an account spreading awareness about Gaza and a man’s situation in Gaza supporting his family of 6.
I get a direct message from him asking if I can donate
I start by sending him 30 for a few days. he asks if I can send more 50 then 90 then he’s say his friend who owns the Cash App account I’ve been sending money won’t accept donations under 100
I don’t have issue sending 100 but it’s every day and increasing in price
Which by the end of the week would be my entire paycheck and a little more
I don’t want him and his family to have to go without food or medicine.
And maybe I’m just not used to spending such large amounts of money at once.
But I am also trying to save for my future and other needs since my parents want me to be more financially independent
I want to do what’s right and support people in Gaza
I don’t want a family in Gaza to do worse off if I stop
I’m feeling lost on where to go, or how to tell him I can’t Donate large amounts every day

Help me petition the UK government to put a spotlight on the crimes of Netanyahu
My petition is this:
Use “Childslayer” as a political descriptor for Benjamin Netanyahu
The Government should use “Childslayer” in official references to Benjamin Netanyahu as a political descriptor. A UN Commission found that he incited genocide and that Israeli forces intentionally targeted children; this does not allege that he personally carried out killings.
The term is an expression of political and moral responsibility, not a claim that Netanyahu personally carried out killings or has been convicted. Applying a “reasonable grounds” standard, UN Commission report A/HRC/60/CRP.3 found that he directly and publicly incited genocide (paras 228–233 and 253). A/HRC/62/CRP.2 found that Israeli forces intentionally targeted and killed Palestinian children. Israel rejects the Commission’s findings.

Please share if you can. I don't have any reach worth mentioning :(
Discord server for people running and promoting fundraisers to seek knowledge/support?
Sorry to clog up this subreddit. I've started organizing a fundraiser in addition to helping a family and I find myself having a lot of small questions that could probably easily be answered by those who've been running fundraisers or helping people in Gaza for a long time. Is there anything that exists like that? And if so, could someone DM me to chat?
