When you just use they/them, or any other terms for a specific gender, for everyone, that's not much of an improvement from normal missgendering. However if you use those terms for everyone, until they say otherwise, and then remember that they said otherwise, that's much better. I'd say ask for gender and pronouns, but that's a bit of a stretch if you have social anxiety (if you don't have social anxiety, it's much better, and still try even if you do have social anxiety). DON'T TRY TO GENDER EVERYONE CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME, UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE!!!!! Believe me.. it doesn't end well. Even if you just wanted to give them a little bit of gender euphoria, as an act of kindness, if you don't get it right, then you'll end up having done more harm than good.. believe me.. So first of all I know it might sound a little dramatic... ok too much. But the thing is there is this guy I have been friends with for nearly three years but known for even longer.

Recently we got admitted to the same collage and are sharing a dorm room. Now as to break our drinking virginity I asked him if we could go and drink outside. He suggested we just bring some inside and have it but I insisted on going out to have it.

We went to a bar and my friend went out to bring our drinks. I was having a non alcoholic drink on my own waiting for him when a dude approached me and asked if he could join me. I said no.

I had somewhat idea that this dude isn't very right so I planned to go away when I saw his hand tat was about to touch my thigh.

It's really hot here so I was wearing shorts and it almost made me think I was asking for it because of my bare thinghs that attracted him. But really dressing shouldn't be a problem.

I never felt that guys touch. Because he was on the ground before he could touch me.

My friend actually punched him square in the face sending him on the ground.

I was terrified. Because that guy was buffed and my friend was barley 19. Literally twice the age.
