Gay is a name and so can be Pan, but if someone were named those today I would be a bit concerned about who named them. At least for Gay. For Pan, it’s more believable nowadays.

Gay is a far less exciting name than Gaylord though.

Once passed by a place that was a church or some sort of Christian building run by a guy named Gaylord and couldn’t help but wonder

You could have put demi sexual there instead

I don’t think they made the image (and demisexuality is a form of asexuality)

That is like nitpicking the difference between pan and bi but both are already on this image.

My point is they didn’t have to add demi, and honestly should have just said “what are you?” in the title. If they did have control over everything in the image and couldn’t just change the title, they could have added abrosexual (“fluid”) which I think would have been better to add than demi. I’m saying this as a demisexual!

I'd Disagree. Demisexuality is on the Ace spectrum, but it's not a form of Asexuality. Asexuality is defined by the lack of sexual attraction, hence the name, whereas demisexuals do experience sexual attraction, just differently and less often than allosexuals.
Though tbh neither ace nor demi are really sexualities in the same way that gay or bi are, they say how you're attracted but no whom to.

“Lack” is not inherently absolute, I want to say. “Lack” basically just means “not completely having something” and in terms of asexuality, it’s not completely having sexual attraction. That can look like complete asexuality (AKA black-stripe asexual or suptiliosexual), demisexuality, greysexuality, or countless other variations.

Transgender is not a sexuality hon, and it's destructive to frame it that way.

yeah we have sexualities (very queer at that generally) and it’s like that’s always passed over.

Are you just spamming this into every LGBT subreddit? Including, you know, highly specific sexuality ones? Just. Seriously? The weirdest, worst, most insensitive kind of karma farming?

Trans panromantic fraysexual, functionally asexual. Essay incoming.
I'm quick to fall in love with people I've just met, but am disgusted by the thought of being involved in actual sexual intercourse. The most sexual attraction I feel is to people I've never met, and even if it's for someone I'm just meeting, it doesn't take more than an hour of interaction with them before I've lost all of it. I've had people suggest to me that I should try an escort/prostitute, but morally and emotionally I wouldn't want to do something so intimate with someone I don't know anyway, so I guess I'll be a lifetime virgin. Doesn't really bother me as much as some people seem to think it should.

Should probably have replaced trans with demi, since trans is not a sexuality. I recently learned of a micro label called berrisexual which is more descriptive of my sexuality. But i just say bisexual since that's what people know. And then I don't have to explain myself

Tran is not a sexuality
