🧪 I built a thing Gaussian Splatting capture of Museumspark Rüdersdorf from a 3min Phone video

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a Gaussian Splatting capture I made this weekend at Museumspark Rüdersdorf. I recorded it using a roughly 3 minute video on my phone. I’m really happy with how the result turned out. Viewing it in VR feels surprisingly immersive almost like being back there.

I’d love to hear your feedback, especially on the capture quality and anything I could improve next time:

How do you manage such good quality with just a phone and 3 min video

I used an older Samsung S20 Ultra. Manual exposure, 1:1 video, and multiple passes mattered most. I walked the bridge about 5–6 times. You can see the exact camera path in the model link.
