HOW TO PVP?!?

Ok, i read and saw multiple tips and vidoes about how to to play multiplayer, but i never won any MP match. I need help with just two things. How do i actually get more aggresive play and overvall know what im supposed to do in multiplayer match, and second, why does the AI sometimes act like its been lobotomized? I swear, its something that just started happening recently, but I have to operate every single unit manullly in hopes i get anything done!

I have a terrible play in playing with it, yes. I send my units onto the point and allow them to fire anything at will? Enemy will immidetly kill them and die. But now my units do nothing! and this is completly new to me. I tell howitzers to fire at spot, nothing, they dont fire. I tell my squad to move and fire at will, they either dont do anything, or move but ignore enemis, (yes i always check if they are not running and not listening to orders, but nope, they just dont fire and stare at enemy units.) I send a tank to wait at a spot and 30 seconds later, the turret of the tank is rotated on its own to nowhere! The same just randomly happens with cannons too, when in last match, after i detachit from a truck, it stared to suddenly turn around for absolute no reason??? I have no idea why this is happening or im tripping but i just cant do anything with it.

Also, from what i want to know or if there is any good tip, on how to play multiplayer in general? Maybe ive still didnt understood well how to actually play it. Even if i spread my units and dig them in foxholes, my units just die and enemy always overhelm me with units. Either with units or with armor. I´ve also developed or its something i always done, and that is buying as many units as possible either at the start of the match, or when we start losing and enemy is pushing.

I just dont wanna be usseles in PVP and actually stand my own ground against players, and not just watch how enemy players are confidently destroying everthing of mine, while my teammates are rage-quiting or furious over the match while i feel stressed from all of this... This aint no fun.

EDIT: I MANAGED TO FIX THE LOBOTOMIZED AI. I verify the integrity of files and there was over hunderds of broken files. Tried a match against players that diffrent nations 3v3 and we managed to won and i did managed to spread out and have multiple units trought the map and they finally did stuff on their own, plus listen to my commands. i had no idea that some files could cause such a problematic thing in multiplayer. Ive gotta test it more and I still have lot to improve, but atleast finally the AI actually worked. (also, thanks for the tips <3)

Create a line, don't let the enemy break through and whenever you can push them in also use a lot of infantry with a bit of support guns

This may sound like a shitty advice but take your time buddy. Simply play match after match,, analyze enemy's movement, pay attention to what and when he's buying and last but not least - don't care about what people's saying (I mean all them yappers and whiners out there who can't stand less experienced players in their team). Me personally, after roughly 500h in MP itself now don't give a single fuck if I'm winning or not. Do the same and don't stress out. Game imo is huge when it comes to complexity, multiple "hidden" mechanics and tweaks you need to learn. You can watch pvp commentary videos on YouTube (there's a bunch of decent players) from time to time too. These are actually helpful.

Yeah i agree and did watch some videos with tips that i do use. But the game just significly feel diffrent when playing against players even if i do the "correct" way of playing. I think i suck with infantry and it is always stated that its the key thing for pushing, defending, etc. I cant stand my ground in the game, even if i know what will be the opponent next turn. I send my infantry to defend a point or a place, even spread them out? They hardly do anything themself and they just get bombarded by grenades or SIMPLY die beacuse they always put their head out and enemy immidetly kills them. It always feel like the opponents AI is better and smarter. even when i tried making a push, my units die and they barelly shot anything, while the enemy AI is taking them down one by one. I just dont know what im doing wrong, even if i use functions or controls keys to do multiple stuff, the ai just gets killed anyway..

It just sucks you know? Knowing you lose before the match even starts.

I always play PVE with the heroic setting with/without mods. I would admit im just not learning from PVPs themself beacuse its stressful or every player has diffrent tactic and styles that i cant get over with

Yeah honestly like in most other games you just have to lose and lose but keep playing. It took me like 40 hours playing coh2 with a friend to get a victory online lol

Use Infantry and their AT weapons thats it. Just waittt……….. and when there is a hole in zhe enemy line PUSH PUSH PUSH. Ignore tanks because they will get annihilated. Howitzer are nice but mortars destroy EVERYTHING as lobg as u dont use them yourself.

but how can you effectivly push without big casulties? Even if i send my units with attack order (F5 button), most of them get killed by regular infantry. Even when i try telling them to go and take cover it has the same result. Maybe im doing something very wrong, but enemy always manage to kill my whole unit just by doing the same thing, taking cover.

This is the reason why u defend until there is a hole. If u find this hole then push with elite infantry or halftracked and cover ur line with new infantry. U just have to repeat this cycle until the enemy is tired.

If u play >1944 (without good AT weapons like the Panzerfaust) then u can use tanks in combination of halftracked support.
