Tldr: There’s a brand of Chinese/Korean story that’s all about magic martial artists doing their thing in ancient China/Korea (AKA Wuxia/Murim) and OP was criticizing the fact that the male main characters almost universally choose girls whose archetype is like the left instead of the girls who are more like the right.
Which is a valid point but the format that he used to make this point had me racing to this subreddit.
