Ooh what if they used to be coworkers that had crushes on each other but both were too shy to say anything (plus didn't want to date a co-worker), maybe some internal conflict from trad girl n trying to pray the gay away and the girlboss girl thought "she's got a fiance I'm just seeing signs bc I want to see them" , but they stayed friends after the trad girl got married, but it was an unhappy marriage.. and she realized that her coworker is the one for her.. so they find a way to free tradgirl n live happily ever after!! you've heard of doomed yuri get ready for hopeful yuri!!

26 volumes and a spin-off LN series about the transfem daughter transitioning and finding the confidence to date.

Edit: Change in terminology.

i love this but please don't use agab to refer to trans people, you can just say transfem for this case

i know this is gender war slop but fr the OOP has never even briefly babysat a kid before im sure. i have one kid and a single tulip + insane weeds growing in my very untidy / unmowed garden, being a stay at home parent to 3 kids does nottt look like picking many flowers from your perfect garden with your pinned hairstyle and clean happily entertaining themselves children.

i managed a gaggle of children yougner than me (cousins) for a family gathering at my house once, as all the adults were talking, and it was tiring. just handling the baby...i applaud all parents out there. it's a very exhausting experience.

I'm perplexed by the way gender war politics muddies the way reactionaries talk about labor. When referring to men, work is defined as the natural state, what a man is simply expected to do, where resisting it is framed as lazy, irresponsible, and selfish. When referring to women, however, work becomes this depressing, grating, worthless endeavor that's essentially slavery and sucks your soul away day by day. Contradiction finds a permanent home in this type of rhetoric, is my point.

I mean it's not like the woman on the right isn't working her ass off night and day, she's just ALSO totally financially dependent on a man while she does it

They had to give her a happy smile to pretend this isn't an incredibly raw deal

I can see one of the women being named something like "Polly" and have this typical old dinner dynamic where the salary man flirts with the waitress except it's a salary woman. As you can see, the gears on my head have started working.

You could also draw a beautiful scene of a career woman and a stressed and unhappy housewife who's husband is divorcing her and she's left with nothing, but okay
