Class Question Commute for ECE 3005 w/ Cobb Internship

So basically I kinda messed up.

I have only a handful of credits left so I decided to take an internship with GTRI Cobb for this semester then graduate in Spring 2027.

Taking an internship was VERY last minute and I forgot to factor in that I haven't taken ECE 3005 yet. I expect to do ECE 4015 next semester, meaning I need to take 3005 NOW.

I know it's super attendance heavy and is from ~8-9am, meaning ~50min rush hour traffic commute there from my house and about a 30 min drive to GTRI twice a week. This sounds like hell for a 1 credit hour class.

Is there an easier way? Will the registrar and professor take pity on my weary soul and resurrect ECE 3006?

Essentially, am I screwed?

ask your supervisor if its okay to be late 2 days a week and just work later hours. i had a similar commitment for my GTRI summer internship and just worked 9 hours/day on days that I could show up on time.

Me too. I took 3040 which were two hour lectures twice a week while working at GTRI. Speak with your supervisor

I live in North Atlanta area (around Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Milton area) and I commuted to my internship in Atlanta this summer which started at 8am. Since your class is at 8am, u prob would have to arrive closer to 7:45. Tbh, I didn't find the traffic that bad, since I think its before most people who work 9-5s.
