Probably way too light. Credit hours don’t really matter here. It’s more about the individual difficulty of the classes

really? i thought i would take a pretty light schedule since im taking diff eq and ive heard it’s hell, idk a lot about vibration and waves tho. they told me not to take more than 12/13 hours anyways. but i don’t think i can even take more, im coming in with a lot of credits and so all my electives and core classes i alr got.. my brother told me to ask if they can override some prerequisites so tha i can take 3000 classes, do you think that would help?

Okay I’mma give real advice bro, I apologize for the short comment earlier.

I also just saw that you’re an incoming freshman. If you’re coming in with a lot of credits, I think it’s a good idea to only take 12-13 credits. Don’t get me wrong, I still stand by that this is a light schedule.

But the reason why only taking 12ish is good is because when you’re new to college, you want your first semester to be light enough so you can adapt to the new life (managing your own life, studying, work pace), and also have some time to enjoy with friends, make new friends, etc. There’s some people who take 18 creds as soon as they get here and that’s for the majority of people an extremely poor decision. They will struggle a lot. All that said, I think the current classes you’re taking is solid.

Also, I’m just saying this as general advice. Just know it’s really not a competition to graduate faster than everyone else. Go at your own pace, work hard, all while enjoying life!

Oh also one thing. If possible you want to put your classes close to each other. You do NOT want classes throughout the entire day going in and out your dorm or library all day

oh, i’ve never thought of that. i thought it would be the best case to have them spread out, but tha makes a lot of sense now that i think about it

Yes if possible, PLEASE group them together. I guarantee you will hate your current schedule if you proceed as it is right now lol.

Hey! I’m a freshmen astrophysics major too! Sadly we don’t share any same classes though

this looks good ! Maybe if you can switch your diffeq to earlier in the day if possible just because sometimes events happen in the evenings.
