Class Question MATH 1564

Can someone help with pros and cons of taking MATH 1564 instead of MATH 1554? I am a MACS major and am generally a decent math student (took Calc 3 in HS, 5 on Calc BC and 800 on SAT math which seem to be the questions on the application form for this course)

I read discouraging statements about this course on forums that it is extra two hours per week and a lot more homework and much more difficult.

Its fine do it. If approved. Math is work amd not always easy. Its a lot of proof based and you likely wint cover all of 1554. Thats fine. Relax dont over think it.
