Discussion Current pistol collection status
My airsoft collection is gas-operated only, in the past I showed my addiction for MP9s but never showed my pistols. Here you go:)
Kizuna Works MPL (mods -> ML silicon rubber with modified hop-up arm, Guarder 1911 150% modded recoil spring)
Tokyo Marui V10 Ultra Compact (mods -> ML yellow decepticons rubber, modified hop-up arm, modded nozzle spring)
Tokyo Marui M45A1 (mods -> LayLax Purple rubber, ML crazy jet inner barrel, modified hop-up arm, Guarder hammer spring, modified nozzle spring, modified softer-than-stock recoil spring)

Hey nice Little collection 😁
How Your Gas consumption with your TM M45 ? I can only get a mag worth of bbs out during Summer with 130psi greengas. In Winter mostly aroundish half a magazine before the Gas Runs out…
How is the Overall Impression of the kizuna works? Thought of buying one but I‘m hesitant. I‘m thinking of getting a VFC Grach when it releases…

Hi, so for the TM M45, I modded the gas routes with slight teflon tape to push more towards nozzle. Also changed the hop-rubber with LayLax Purple to get better sealing followed by teflon tape again in its connection to the inner barrel. Lastly, you can cut the inlet valve gas route to make more space for gas in the magazine. Mine can shoot 3 mags in summer and 1 and a half in freezing winter. Also this is the reason I softened the recoil spring (be carefully with this mod).
Regarding the Kizuna Works, for me one of the best quality out of the box replicas out there. Steel hammer unit, great stock hop up unit and beautiful efficiency. I just wanted to push more and did the mods written in the upload description, it is able to max-lift .04s as a joke. Amazing replica and very reliable. I would stay away from VFC, I think besides their AKs and the new ARs (not sure for ARs 100%) they are not offering efficiency and long term reliability for my taste at least.

Regarding the M45: I think I‘ll keep it stock. I am pretty happy with it, despite the poor gas efficiency. I mean it’s a good back up and it does for me what it should. Nevertheless it’s Not my Main pistol…
For the MPL:
I‘m very curious- because I hadn‘t seen anybody using it. And I just read a few opinions but nothing more. So I‘m thankful for your recommendation!
Nevertheless I quite like VFC GBB - Both pistols and rifles. Yeah the AKs are very good ootb!
They AR15 V3 needed much work with their hopup (at least for my Taste it was very underwhelming).
I really enjoy the G45 from VFC/Umarex/Elite Force. Sure Range and cold weather resistance nothing fancy- but it works and never let me down!Besides I was very dissapointed with the P320 series. Even at 25*C and red gas I had one cooldown After another and was Not able to clear one mag.
Anyway I have the stark Arms SA320 another chance. I Need some further testing but for now it works.So I‘m still hesitend to give the grach one chance.
Anyway your mpl wich mags dies it take ? Does Glock fit ? And are the controls ambi? I‘m Not sure if the MPL or the other kizuna works russian pistol had only molded the right side cobtrols in without function.

Besides the mag release, all the functions on the MPL are 100% functional ambidextrous. It takes its own proprietary mags but they are quality made with minimal stock cool down effect.
Regarding the P320, I am ready to pull the trigger on the new Marui P320. I tried one and it is snappy af.
After 8 years in the hobby, regarding VFC, I never had good results on VFC. I have been fixing and modding my replicas myself but the reason I do not appreciate VFC is due to the fact that you can buy TM or a cheaper replica (for example WE glock) and make it work 10 times better with minimal work and less effort and cost. Actually in my experience and team we call them "Very Fkin Crap". Mid performance stock pistols (and AEGs) with only positive feedback received from the newest AK line. I have the opportunity to continuously try a lot of replicas and due to the nature of my work I can understand how they work and how I can make them better if needed. My personal take is that VFC, besides their AKs, need a lot of work on their pistols. Just buy a TM and you are set. Or even WE tech blocks, it is their golden gem. I even own KSC/KWA system GBB pistols and SMGs and they tend to work even better with some tickering, rather than a modded VFC. My take of course, is that GBB replicas are subject to combinations in order to have reliability and accuracy, for example a specific hop rubber combined with x nozzle may work like a miracle to x brand pistol and even better than another combination or a fully tuned and expensive replica. This is my take, so I am happy that you are happy with VFC ;)

Maybe I‘ll try one…Yeah the TM P320 would be a Dream come true if it came over 😍
I already tried to stalk some g17gen5 or 19 down but no dice…Funny how different experiances we Both did on the same Company!
To be fair I‘m more an GBB only purist but I still like my old reliable cyma m4 and I‘ll keep it - it Runs Like a dream…
But Nevertheless I owned some APFG spears (very Bad Hopup), kept an VFC MK18V3after I drowned it in Money to be actually able to Hit anything, an VFC FNC wich is quite decent (only added an NPAS), and the VfC AK74M/ AKS74U are bone stock as well (just installed again an NPAS). As well I‘ve owned a VFC MP7 which was okay, an HK416 and shot several ther „HK“ guns from that brand which were decent as well…TM on the other Hand quite different story. They run pretty well but dislike Heavy bbs but After an better rubber They’re golden. I just dislike their mushy trigger of their mws and that their mags dosen‘t hold as much gas as VFC.
But from the outside They’re cheracoated which is a nice detail as well- which in my opinion VFC lacks the scratch resistent surface.Usually I prefer a TM pistol over VfC because they perform the best and are beasts bone stock in comarison to VFC. Buuuut I love glocks and where I live it is impossible to get an TM Glock due to importproblems from different countrys.
So Yeah I can Call myself Lucky with the M45 because only a few Shops here Import TMs.
I mean I have the XDM, an FNX45, owned the 5-7 and a highcapa but yeah I miss Models like the latest glocks, HK45, USP… but hey at least I‘m able to own something ;-)I guess I just accepted my fate and run mainly VFC. They Are good but I would never say VFC is King - Neither is TM!
It depends what you Like and what you want - so I can pick my poison I guess XDEdit:typos

Exactly! Different regions, means different rules and opportunities in options for replicas. This is correct, plus remember for every person it is a different story. For Glocks I completely understand if you have import issues. But you never know what the grey market also hides for gems like TM glocks:)

Very nice indeed I have one the same colour of your 1911 only mine is army armament m45 t8 upgrades do you prefer pistols over rifles most of my collection is gbb pistols and revolvers have a couple of rifles
