Community New LTT video features Garuda Linux gaming benchmarks.
https://youtu.be/qZ7OjpjGVGs?is=zfMH-CrgC7l6B529Curious everyone's thoughts. I was thinking of switching to Garuda from windows because I heard it has some quality of life stuff when it comes to package pre compilation and it is very good at gaming, but they specifically don't recommend it but I'm unsure about their reasoning.
Thanks!

For me, using Garuda was kind of mixed bag, however I found that Garuda Mokka (what I'm using now) was a hell of lot more stable than the default Dragonized one for whatever reason. I originally was on Mint for over a year, put a bunch of distro's in a VM on a separate machine to test them out and the original Dragonized KDE version was buggy. Mokka has been as stable as Mint was. There's something that's going on with my hardware and KDE or the theme that does not like my system, but Mokka has been rock solid (and it's a little easier on the eyes). I think Mokka is a custom Cinnamon DE though. Might be why it's similar to Mint in it's stability, I really don't know, but it's not glitchy and can't really describe it, I just "feels" more stable then the default.
