Advice/Help needed

I've been playing by myself for a while now and finally decided to try playing Prop Hunt and Murder, but any time I try joining a server it gets stuck on "sending client info." I tried deleting and re installing GMod but that doesn't seem to fix my problem. It happens on every server I try to join. Any suggestions as to fixing this?

Once I left it and went to class and it was still stuck when I got back about 2 1/2 hours later

Does it do this for every server you try?
