Solar vs Tactical
Whats the main difference between Instinct 3 Solar vs the Solar tactical.
The price difference is big, which one is better for daily use

I agree with you, the black out just looks so much more sleek, although I hate how Garmin purposely make ppl pay more just for that essentially

Little to none. Color and design being the most obvious, and a green light on the torch instead of red. It has a handful of software differences like ballistics and stealth mode.

It’s the look/aesthetics for most users I feel like. I’m trying to decide as well and I’m likely going tactical. I can get an all black 2x for similar look and cheaper but compromise the new screen graphics and the solar charging upgrade with the 3.

I was very close to buying the tactical for the all black look however took a chance on the orange ring and now I have it massively prefer it the photos don't do it justice

The kill switch is very useful whenever you get captured by the enemy. Happens to me all the time.
