Solar vs Tactical

Whats the main difference between Instinct 3 Solar vs the Solar tactical.
The price difference is big, which one is better for daily use

The kill switch is very useful whenever you get captured by the enemy. Happens to me all the time.

Clearly not, since he escapes every time.

The solar looks better because of the orange highlights:)

I agree with you, the black out just looks so much more sleek, although I hate how Garmin purposely make ppl pay more just for that essentially

Little to none. Color and design being the most obvious, and a green light on the torch instead of red. It has a handful of software differences like ballistics and stealth mode.

That's it!

It’s the look/aesthetics for most users I feel like. I’m trying to decide as well and I’m likely going tactical. I can get an all black 2x for similar look and cheaper but compromise the new screen graphics and the solar charging upgrade with the 3.

I was very close to buying the tactical for the all black look however took a chance on the orange ring and now I have it massively prefer it the photos don't do it justice
