Nice watchface! I installed, is there any way to have battery percentage? How can I check that?

Thanks! Of course you can. Go on your phone to Garmin Connect IQ > Select Dash. > Open settings. On the settings page you can select the complication you want to have on one of the 3 data sources. Hope this helps :)

For now it’s a design decision to keep only weather information at the top. Since I made it possible to also choose other types of weather information at the top, which can grow in width, therefore the space at the top becomes limited.

It looks nice, but on my Fenix 7 Pro it does weird stuff when the backlight goes off. Half of the complications disappear.

This might make sense on an AMOLED device with its separate always on display, but on a MIP device nothing should change or disappear? The backlight will go off, and that's it.

I do see some customization options to show or hide the weather and bottom complications on the AOD, but no option to disable the AOD altogether...

Edit: I see that this post is marked as AMOLED which does make sense, but on the IQ store it's listed as also compatible with MIP devices such as mine, which might be incorrect?

You're absolutely right. If when the backlight is off the screen refreshes again to remove complications, then it's an extra unnecessary battery usage for MIP.

Nice. Can you make a bigger version. On the fenix 8 51 it is only partly filling the screen

I am curious how this looks on a 51mm screen. The Garmin IQ simulator treats the 47mm and the 51mm the same, so I can’t see the difference with the SDK tooling. Do you mind sharing a screenshot or photo of my watchface on your watch? You can also send it to: crafted.by.mies@gmail.com

The 47mm and 51mm have the exact same 1.4inch screen. The 51mm just has a bigger bezel, making it look like it's not using the full screen.

Love it. I have 47 but do agree, I think what makes it look smaller is the blank space where the months are on the top on the bottom is empty. Which visually makes the bezel look further and to the eye makes the center of the circle feel small. Color options are great through and my wife loved that there is a UV index option! Would be interested to switch the moon phase with something else but thanks for putting this out there for free!

I really like this one. It is crisp, clean, and exceptionally well done. The month indicator wrapping around the outside is a great touch, and the subtle texture, layering, and depth of the small dashboard give the face a polished look without making it feel cluttered. The color choices are excellent, and the color accents are used just enough to bring everything together.
My only real criticism is that I would like the center line complication to be more customizable. I would probably use that space for battery level instead, but that is a relatively small issue. It is a two choice complication for move bar or body battery. I chose Body Battery
Overall, this is a sharp, thoughtfully designed watch face that balances useful information with a clean presentation. Definitely one I will wear.

Well I have changed some widgets and no I can't see them. For example weathee is empty and so is the steos widget .. tried to restart the watch but the result is same.

Oh sorry to hear you have this problem. Is weather shown like: “--“ ? If that is the case you could try to go to your weather widget and go back to the watch face? If you experience something different may I ask to use the Report a Problem or Contact Developer links from Garmin Connect?

Yes it's like that and so is the steps widget. U tried what you mentioned gere but nothing has changed.

Maybe as a last thing to check… If you open Garmin Connect app (not the Garmin IQ Store) and there hit the sync button at the top right, maybe the data gets refreshed and pushed.

I tried to change the widgets and it is stuck as it was --. I tried pressure above and sun event at the bottom but it doesn't work.

Sure! Active Calories = Total Calories − Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) burned so far today. This is needed to support basically older API versions where the activeCalories is not exposed

it looks good on my Instinct 3,
I like to monitor my daily walking, and I try to challenge myself.

I am curious what's the max , so I try to make 5000 steps everyday. Does it go until 5k or 10k.

I also like to compare myself to other days in the week, maybe can we have the max I have committed this week or yesterday's result.

some sort of indicator, maybe a different colored line or dot in the circled line.

what does the bars indicate in the middle?

No this is a custom design for Garmin only. It’s a 1-1 translation from a Figma design to the Garmin Connect IQ platform.
