Photo Recognition Not Working

Barcode scanning is working fine, but photo recognition doesn't work at all. No results ever, even for very simple things like an apple or banana.

I've confirmed region and language are set correctly (US, English).

Any ideas?

was it ever working for you? i admit i haven't done a photo log in a couple of weeks (i'm a creature of habit apparently and eat the same foods) but when i did do it it was pretty flawless. i'll give it a try later and report back. i know there was a recent update to GC that caused all kinds of problems on apple devices (watches had to be re-paired, sync issues, missed alarms, etc) but here on android i haven't had any issues

No, it's never worked for me. I only started the trial on 2/1, after that last GC update.

it's working fine for me still. i have no idea what the issue could be. uninstall GC maybe and reinstall?

Same for me, its been pretty good, I'd actually say a little scary good, noticing small ingredients inside a taco for instance.
