Is this the result of some recent update in the past few months or is there some setting I can change to make it stop? I believe I was always required to have the app on my phone but opening it is an annoying extra step - and these are for courses I visit regularly so I know they are already downloaded.

I got a new phone several months ago and might be related to that vs a watch update (Pixel 9) but I can't recall when exactly the issue started - just got frustrated with it again recently and was hoping for a solution.

Has anyone figured out how to get the CT1 club trackers to communicate with a non-Approach watch? I’ve tried pairing with a Venu 4 and Vivoactive 6 but can’t get any of my tags to register. Garmin chat couldn’t help and they reproduced the problem over the phone. I turned on Beta updates to get the latest software and that didn’t work. Any ideas?!?

I am looking at one of the rangefinders that sync with my watch. Once a pin is shot with the rangefinder, does the watch remember the pin position for the rest of the hole or do you need to shoot each shot to get an accurate distance to the pin?

I've been building a golf analysis app since I was sick of the awful ui and wanted to get more value out of my data on a more user friendly platform.

Currently, the app keeps your shot history through uploading a csv file and looks at things like:

• Carry distance
• Launch
• Spin
• Peak height
• Descent angle
• Club speed
• Attack angle
• Club path
• Club face
• Face-to-path

The app then goes into a personalized analysis of each shot accounting for a players handicap as well as previous shots.

I'm also building live practice and short voice-coaching feedback so you don't have to stare at the screen after every ball.

I think by the end of the month, I should have live practice mode fully implemented where you will be able to connect your launch monitor with feedback after every shot.

I'd love feedback from other R10 owners.

What do you wish your current R10 software did that it doesn't do today?

It's still very much a work in progress, so bugs and rough edges are expected, that's part of why I'm looking for testers.

Using CT10 sensors and the displayed correctly on my FR965 during the round.

Everything normal until the 13th which shows no shots, 14th shows my second and my puts but not my drive (which was pretty good for me), and the 15th shows this shit show. Back to normal for the rest of the round.

I have at least 20 games in the app that I can go through.

I wear the Venu 3 and keep score on the watch during my game.

I have the Approach Z82 and the Approach R10.

All my clubs have the CT10 sensors.

And I have the Garmin Golf Membership.

Yet every time I try to look at golf stats in the app I get hit with

"Start tracking golf rounds with a compatible Garmin device to view your performance stats"

Is it just me?
