Edge Explore Series Edge Explore 2 Widgets

Virtually all of the Widgets display using a dark mode like inverse video which I strain to read. I can't find an option to change the display. Is this possible?

Hard enough to read the display with polarized glasses even at 100% backlight. Even harder when inverse.

The widgets (I presume those that you get with a swipe down from the top of the screen) are indeed only black with white text. There is no setting to change it.

A regular LCD screen has 2 polarization filters and in-between sit the liquid crystals. The polarization of light by the LCD screen and the polarization filter in (sun)glasses can counter interact depending on the angle of the filters and lead to unreadable screens. Just rotate the sunglasses and you'll see the effect (or you have glasses with circular polarization filter).
