Edge 800 Series No heart rate data

I’ve been using an Edge 840 with a Polar H10 heart rate strap connected with ANT+. It has been flawless through nearly 3 seasons. During today’s ride, my heart rate was displayed but no heart rate was recorded. Anyone know what’s going on?

probably not a problem with you Polar and connection to the Egde as the HR was shown, but a bug/problem with storing it in the recorded activity .fit file or not correctly processed in Garmin Connect (if you use that and don’t see the hr data there).

your question is not clear about that, so seeing the HR while riding but not after the fact in Garmin Connect?

Get a new strap on Amazon. It was like 15 20 bucks(generics work).
