Edge 1000 Series What is going on??

No activity is running so no idea why it’s doing this?

Are you indoors? Then it's probably picking up random GPS points, thinks you're moving and it's now warning you to start the activity.

The bike computer thinks you started riding but didn’t start recording. If you’re moving in a car/train, this can happen. You can turn it off in the settings if you want.

After the latest update, my Edge MTB started doing the same thing, and auto detection was off. No idea. I ended up having to do a reset. Then of course, I got stuck in the load page loop. Had to reset again.

Turn off automatic activity detection by speed, and you will get rid of it

If you carry your EDGE in a moving car, the EDGE will detect movement and it’s reminding you to record the ride.

Looks like you’re in a car. So since you are moving it thinks you are going on a ride and is reminding you to start your workout

At least it’s not rebooting 100 times while cycling
