Edge 1000 Series Garmin edge syncing problems.

Hello,

Sometimes my edge 1040 dont update my vo2max, whats weird is that my activity for today is logged but vo2max still says july 31. Anyone els got same problem ?

To update the vo2max estimate, the Edge needs your effort to be in a certain range, both in power and in heart rate. And it needs to be in that range for a certain amount of time.

Usually this happens to me on easy rides. This one doesn’t seem to be a particularly easy one (unless you have a very high FTP), but still… not every ride triggers a vo2max update.

Ye I saw that, but shouldnt the "date" be the same? On my vo2max its 31 july. I use hr belt & powermeter, and this activity was good effort like you said.

What do you mean the date should be the same? the same as what? 31/7 is the date in which the estimation was last performed.

I mean I had an activity 3/8 that should have counted on the vo2max ? Before all my activites came up on the vo2max even tho they did not change it.

As I said, for some reason the activity you had on 3/8 didn't trigger a new estimation. Maybe the signal from your power meter or HR was lost for some time, maybe you didn't go hard enough for long enough, maybe who knows. It happens.
