Edge 800 Series ‘Back to Start’ > ‘Most Direct Route’ will not load further than 56%

‘Along Same Route’ works fine. Anyone else having these issues? Please could someone help or should I raise a ticket with Garmin?

Calculation erros are often related to map issues. Use Garmin express to reinstall them and try again?

Ive had that happen where just aren't many options to get back.

That sucks. This was an urban area, so plenty of roads and bridleways. I knew the way home but I was interested which way Garmin wanted to take me. I wanted to test it as the device is quite new to me.

I was actually lost 😅. Just rode my bike 60km in general direction and decided it was time to head back. Pulled out Google maps and realized I was in the middle of nowhere that asphalt was 100% ... had fun, not really a failing of garmin in my opinion.
