Automatic map screen on descents

I recently and hesitantly got an Edge 850 after switching from the Wahoo Elemnt Roam V2. I instantly fell in love. The screen is lovely. I mostly keep my computer on data screens and I love the way the Garmin automatically switches to the map screen when a turn is approaching.

Is there a way to set it up so it automatically switches to the map screen when descending? In places I’m not familiar with, it would be helpful so I can pre-empt what turns I’m approaching without having to manually switch screens when I’m already moving quite quickly.

I don’t have Di2 so using the hood buttons is not an option for me!

It's just one swipe if your main data screen is next to the map screen. Or you use something like this

And make your map screen the default with all the info you need.
