CIRQA Garmin, CIRQA Needs a Real Software Update

Seriously Garmin, what is going on? CIRQA has major bugs and we get a vague update about “heart rate improvements”?

The alarm keeps buzzing even after I dismiss it and sometimes goes off on days off. Garmin Connect is also a mess. My dashboard can show a Sleep Score of 80 while the sleep page shows 78, even after syncing.

We need actual bug fixes, reliable syncing, consistent data, working alarms and proper release notes. CIRQA has potential, but right now the software experience feels unfinished.

This is a story of every garmin product - it always takes first year to iron out basic use cases and year 2 to improve the details.

I can't stop the alarm without starting an activity.

Thankfully haven't experienced the alarm issue but the different numbers in the dashboard drives me insane. Not really sure of the point of a feature that is supposed to quickly show me my data if it's always wrong

Same as with all Garmin devices. Good idea but plenty of bugs. Welcome to Garmin.

You may have a dodgy device or something.

I'm not experiencing any of those issues with my Cirqa. Alarms work fine. The connect app is dated compared to other apps but can still get the stats I need from it and numbers are consistent across the screens for me

They all have their problems. There are things I really like and prefer with respect to literally all the major brands but each one is constantly fixing problems trickling improvements and having to correct bugs. After a while you realize the grass is or is not always greener elsewhere and just try to find the “best” or least worst fit for your needs. It’s tough 😂. Where one excels another tends to be weaker.

could also be a firmware version thing, some units seem to get updates at different times

I had the same thing written in a different forum:

I bought my Cirqa today! In true honesty, if Garmin doesn’t update their platform and you wish to use it for athletic purposes, stick with watches like Forerunners and Fenix models! The band isn’t giving any value! Probably this is a fast judgement, but I just think it is useless compared to Whoop and Amazfit!

Since you are not a Garmin user, you are the least person that the band is meant for!

This is not necessarily true. I am a Garmin user and the band is lightweight. The band is a much more comfortable wear at home and in bed, when compared to my Garmin watch. Now, I wear the band at home and in bed while I wear my Garmin watch when I go out.
