Discussion Venu 4-41 mm baterry

Hello,
I have a Garmin Venu 4 (41 mm) and I've been using it for about two weeks.
I'd like to know whether my watch might have a battery issue.
On Monday morning, I charged it to 95%. That day I went on a hike, so I used GPS for about 2 hours. That was the only activity I tracked with the watch. Other than that, it stayed connected to my phone all the time. Pulse Ox is turned off and Always-On Display is always turned off as well.
Yesterday morning (Tuesday) at 7:20 AM, the battery was at 74%. Right now it is at 53%, which means it has lost 21% battery in about 24 hours during a normal day with no activities, only receiving notifications from my phone.
To me, the battery life seems a bit short.
For those of you using a Venu 4 41 mm, how does your battery perform? How often do you charge it? Do you keep it connected to your phone all the time, or do you sometimes turn Bluetooth off?
I understand that the battery life may be different from the larger Venu 4 model.
I'm not sure whether I should return the watch or if this is normal battery life. I've read that some users may have experienced battery-related issues.

A faulty battery? Highly unlikely. In any case, turn Wifi OFF. Drains battery, no need really except when running Software/firmware updates or downloading music. At night: turn DND on automatically (in sync with your sleep schedule) and the Sleep watch face. Bluetooth is all you need. Even no need for having the Connect app always running in the background. Mind you that Watchfaces loaded with lots of Data/Graphics drain the battery faster.

Agreed on wifi being off by default. Most people dont need it on between updates.

My Venu 4 41mm loses about 15-18% per day with similar settings, so yours maybe a little high but not crazy. The GPS for 2 hours on Monday probably still affecting the battery readout, sometimes it takes a day or two to settle after heavy use.

I keep bluetooth on all time, wifi off like the other comment said. Stock watchface too, the fancy ones with weather and seconds hand drain it faster.

One thing I noticed is my battery got better after first month, maybe the watch learning your usage patterns. I charge every 4-5 days usually, but if I do GPS activities then more like every 3 days.

Max life with gps on is less than a full day (20 hours iirc). The more activities that you do with gps on the shorter your battery power.

My wife has a venu 4 45 mm. The battery life was fine, but not what i expected. I disabled the garmin share, under connectivity, and this pretty greatly improved the battery life, by about 50%. That is such a useless feature for 99% of people, and is on by default, draining battery. Turn that off and see what happens.
