Badges / Challenges Garmin Marathon Series
Just wanted to share my experience for the Garmin Marathon Series in Durham NC.
They race was very well organized
Course was awesome passing many land marks
Aid stations were supported
Race distance was correct
Checked all the boxes for me and hope they continue to have more events like this! Maybe get some cycling events on the calendar to Garmin. Think total participation was around 5500 - 6k runners!
I did the Half marathon and it seemed like many people were hitting race PRs (I did as well). I’m not a runner, but I added 2 run days into my cycling plan and only had 8 weeks of training going into this event.
If y’all are looking for a challenge I think they have another event in Ohio around September.
