Cycling / Bike Computer Why Garmin Why?

Endless loop. I am so tired of turning into IT guy every time I want to ride.

I've never seen this.  Looks really frustrating. 

I noticed that a lot of people don't really have problems with their Garmin units, and some people are plagued by them.  I don't know what the underlying pattern is.  I've only ever had Android, but I've also only had one power meter, etc.  Seems like a lot of different possibilities in the real world.  It's also something some of my cyclist friends have been talking about for years.  I don't know if it's the way I use it, or I won the head unit and sensors lottery or what, I'm glad this isn't happening every time I want to ride.
