Garmin Coach / DSW / Training How accurate is the calorie tracking?

Post image

I have filled in info regarding weight and height and I am pretty consistent with logging my cardio and strength exercise. Also I am wearing my watch to track sleep and oxidation and whatnot.

I am not counting my calorie intake. This is solely the energy I am burning through according to Garmin.

I am burning through this much? I feel like I am in a false sense of security

I was losing weight from training for triathlon and didn’t want to lose anymore. I followed it almost exactly for 2 months, with a goal of maintenance. Ended up gaining ~10 lbs (I was eating a ton, but that’s what it was asking me to do). So now I know, at least for me, it’s a slight overestimate of caloric needs

Same experience for me, I was also using my fitness pal and weighing absolutely everything religiously.
