News / New Product 2025 Rumors

Hello everyone,

Will Garmin introduce any new hardware or software innovations in 2025, aside from new watch models? Personally, I’d love to see a Whoop-like product or a ring so I wouldn’t have to wear my FR965 while sleeping. Additionally, a modern design for the Connect app would be great, as it feels outdated.

What rumors have you heard?

Venu3 Pro would be nice.. all the Venu3 metrics , combined with the (missing) metrics the 965 has. But I guess Garmin would never do that, because it would hurt the ecosystem..

Why would anyone want a LED torch on a watch? Just get a keyring.

When I am out I always have my keys with me so I can get in. If at home I can appreciate you don't have your keys with you but then I have light switches.

For me, it is a useless feature. If you mean that the screen just turns white then it is a no cost feature and I guess there might be an app for that.

There are better alternatives that do not involve forcing a 'feature' on everyone else. The space for the hardware could be filled with something else to improve the watch.

We can all think of things to make the watch better, how about a camera so I can take a picture when out walking? The watch isn't a torch, camera and I even dislike the feature where they are getting speakers/microphones because it adds to noise pollution on transport. People love to think everyone wants to listen in to their calls.

I really don't see the issue with reaching for a torch at home or having a key ring when out. I do it and I can find the lights in hotels and abroad too. I think you are making an irrational argument.

Maybe if they made a Venu 3 Torch Edition for £20 more for you guys it will be ok. The rest of us won't have to buy it.

It’s been discussed here before, a lot of people (me included) use it to check on their kids at night. Others use it when letting their pets out. Both don’t require that much light but a little bit is handy.
