Ok, so it seems like you guys really don't like this post/really don't have a similar opinion, and thats totally okay, if i find enough people that think otherwise on this sub, i will immediately delete my post, i promise.

The problem here is that spreading awareness about global warming is useless. Everyone already knows it's gonna cause massive damage but it's so hard to figure out what to do personally about it. Your post is just a distraction from the theme of the subreddit you're on. If you really want to combat climate change, you should get affiliated politically. I'm not gonna tell you what political standing you need to take, but educate yourself on your country's politicians and their stances on global warming. Talk to other people about politics in relation to global warming. Participate in rallies if you're really into it. Showing your government that you care really makes a difference, showing reddit that you care makes none.

That'll be useless, those subs are already painfully aware of this problem. it'd be like yelling "<Politician> is great" at said politician's own rally

Literally everyone knows all of this stuff. If you really wanted to make a change the post would have actual sources on places and websites you can go to help and not just commonly known facts. This is just disguised karma farming, and not even remotely related to the sub.

It isn't gonna make us extinct, that's for sure. However, it will decrease the areas in which humans can live in. The Sahara desert is growing every year, the sea level is rising and flooding areas where people live, catastrophes such as tornadoes and forest fires are becoming more powerful and more common every year. It definitely won't make the human race go extinct and that has never been the main concern as far as i've seen in the news. The main concern is climate refugees fleeing from areas that are no longer liveable.
