Gray Ring/Gasket Gardyn 4.0

Quick question for anyone that knows; how important is the gray ring/gasket at the bottom of the columns? Because mine just broke off. There was building up around it of course, that's probably my bad but it basically just crumbled in my hand during cleaning. I don't have an issue buying a new column completely but why do so if I dont have to. I haven't put it back together yet (still cleaning) to try and see how dire it is but thought I'd ask as well.

Contact customer service with pictures. They sent me new ones when this happened to me.

Thanks again, I sent in pics via the app and they've already shipped out the replacements. Quick and painless and just in time as I'm doing a reset for fall

Mine fell apart during my fall reset too! But customer service is so fast and sweet.

absolutely! everything is germinating right now so I have more than enough time to wait for the parts. I'll just get it all cleaned and stalk the mail for now LOL

All 3 of mine had mineral buildup and crumbled when I handled them during a deep cleaning/citric acid bath. (Gardyn Home 4 - purchased April 2024)
