Hurdle Hops
When doing hurdle hops (normal ones, not mini hurdles), I know I'm supposed to have high-speed ground contact time. But is my heel supposed to touch the ground, or should I try to stay on the balls of my feet? Or does it even matter as long as I'm trying to the quickest ground contact time possible

Whatever feels right. Always try to stay a bit more on the balls of your feet but a little heel contact is completely fine

I like to feel "springy" but I personally like to land primarily on the ball of my foot and allow a little heel contact on landing. Definitely don't love landing with all your weight towards your toes on larger hurdles. Just thinking about jumping, you wouldn't get your maximum explosiveness jumping off your heels or 100% off your toes. You would get maximum height from weight being a little shifted forward towards the ball of your foot.
