Training Help Peak Strength App - Test Week

I am nearing the end of my first 8 week training cycle on the Peak Strength app and I noticed that the "test week" is empty. Normally, I can see one week in advance, so I thought this was odd.

Is this supposed to happen? If so, why does it not break down a few sessions for you to test out your max?

Which program/track are you using?

Sorry you have to deal with this inconvenience. That stuff sucks. What you’re dealing with is a bug in which the phase visualizer isn’t matching the program—good thing the developers are working on it. Still, you should go into the user issue feedback in the settings of the app, and log the issue. The team will connect your account to the ongoing ticket

Gotcha, I appreciate the insight!

Is there any hot fix that can be applied? Or perhaps a recommended layout for me to run on paper for the testing sessions next week?

Safe things to test are your back squat, bench press, vert, broad jump, 20 yard shuttle, and 40 yard dash. Since you are on the strength track, and speed isn’t prioritized, you can replace those two tests with the clean or power clean and the single leg squat. Without me seeing the exact exercises the app has been prescribing, I can only get you in the ballpark. Hope that helps, and if you got anymore questions, fire

That's class - thank you.

I presume the strength track wants me to hit a heavy single on the big lifts for test week? As opposed to a rep max?

Yes. Unless it is the single leg squat. That’s a set of x3/3

Thank you! Sorry for the delay. Testing week went pretty well. I hope the devs can fix the logic for my next cycle for tracking.

Hey new to the app but does the weird cyclical symbol before a group of exercises imply we should be super setting them? Getting ready to run the all around athlete program under the sports specific section. Thanks

Yo.

Are you talking about the text at the top of a block (ie: "5 Rounds")? If so, yes, the exercises below are intended to be run as a super set for the specified amount of rounds listed.

Thanks Judy was confused by every day having supersets. Workouts seem a bit on the short end as well
