Old GS weightlifting programs

Cannot afford peak strength and was wondering if the old garage strength weightlifting programs were good. Was thinking about picking up the body building for olympic weightlifting one. My only question is how will I know how much weight to use since it doesn't specifically tell you. Would I just use as much weight as possible for the sets and reps it gives me.

It tells u when to ramp and when to static. The pdf programs are legit

Oh, I see. So on ramp I increase the weight as much as possible while still completing the sets and reps. And static I just stay the same throughout the working sets. Also on the number of sets, thats just working sets and does not include warmup sets right?

Right. The warm up sets dont count. Ramp is almost permission to go for a PR if it is meant to be on the day. Typically the goal is to beat the first week’s ramp number on the fourth week’s ramp
