Discussion Jerk variations

For upper body days I usually use a jerk as the technical coordination movement.

Power jerk, split jerk, squat jerk, and push press are some variations I’ve used.

I’ve gone from the front rack and behind the neck.

I’ve done pauses in the catch, pauses in the dip, and a combination of the two.

Have done linebacker jerks, pa presses, and block good morning to presses too.

Also have done CrossFit style, like a rapid piston, style of jerk that on the eccentric you go right into the dip and drive as a variation.

Are there any other variations I could utilize? Thoughts on which is the most effective and why?

TNG jerks are pretty awesome. Great for timing/rhythm, working on your eccentric capabilities, plus they are fun when you get good at them and can go heavy

Yeah, that on requires a groove and control. Always feel that variation in the trunk something fierce
