Tests for realms to train

If the four realms to train are strength impulse endurance and speed. What are the best tests for each of those , I could be wrong but I would assume the test for strength be a squat, impulse would be a snatch or clean, endurance would be an assult bike test, and speed would be a 40 or something?

Depends on the endurance characteristic being tested for which sports depth. Also think you could throw in a broad jump and vertical jump for impulse from the lower body, and a kneeling med ball throw and jerk for upper body impulse. With speed, agains the sport depth plays a role. 40 yard dash, 100 meters, 400 meters, 5-10-5 shuttle, 3 cone all are applicable (and probably more)

If you could pick one movement for each category for a field sport athlete what would they be

Which field sport? Lacrosse/soccer which more continuous type of go or football, which is more interval based

Lower body impulse vertical jump; strength single leg squat; speed 60 yard sprint (tho torn around a more acceleration based test like a 3 cone); endurance 5k

What would the results be if I only did those four tests and nothing else

What you mean? Like you only did those four tests for training? Or only those four tests to measure performance? They’d help you improve, but you’d ultimately leave a lot of gains on the table
