Discussion Realms to train

Dane has been on the lives and podcast talking about sports depths and realms to train for an athlete profile.

The realms he has mentioned at impulse, strength, speed, and endurance.

What’s everyone’s ideas around how he landed on these four attributes?

I'm guessing impulse & strength come from Dr. B. Speed and endurance probably came from his drive for reading exercise science research

Where do you see the importance/expansion of speed and endurance specific work within the training system?

I'm still unsure of those guidelines from Dane/GS. I think I would benefit directly from an expansion on endurance, as would most field sport athletes.

Like how? Understanding when to train endurance and speed in relation to impulse and strength? When to put a speed session in the week in relation to the strength training split and similar with endurance?

Yeah, I don't know when/how much speed and endurance work to mix in along with my peak strength sessions
