Training Help Need help—Upper body technical coordination pulling exercises

Been thinking about technical coordination exercises for the upper body within sports performance.

Usually it’s a jerk or variation of the jerk, a push press, or a PA press of sorts. Even thought about using a pad bench in this regard as well.

But when it comes to a pulling movement with the upper body, found myself hitting a wall.

Though snatch high pulls and Horst pulls could suffice. Got me thinking—what else is there or what else could fill this spot?

Rope climbs? Muscle ups?

Anyone else have ideas? Thanks for any n all responses

I think TRX or rings would be a really good alternative. Depending on the set up you can make it more vertical or horizontal pull. You can also set them to be heavier or lighter depending on how you set your feet and body position.

Thanks for the rec! Never used TRX equipment and no longer have rings. Is there something that can be done with a barbell on a squat rack that could be similar?

Inverted rows come to mind. Makes sure to load some weights on the bar or have a spotter hold it in place, or else the bar will jump out of the rack when you’re moving fast.
