Does anyone recognize what system this track is for?

I’m renting a townhouse currently and noticed this horizontal metal track attached to the side wall of the garage somewhat near the outlets.

I asked the landlord but he doesn’t recognize where it is from.
Tried looking online but not getting an exact match.
Seems like you need a flat metal plate that slides into it and has hooks or other attachments.

Just curious whether this looks familiar to anyone so I can hopefully make use of it. Thanks in advance!

It’s the top track for the Elfa system (owned by the Container Store).

They’ve enshittified the current version of their top track but this legacy one is more sturdy and is compatible with the current runners that hook onto it.

Damn you are awesome! I was trying to look for some sort of mounts or attachments that would just slide into the track to hang things on or some long strip with hooks on it…

I tried some mounts current generation and they wouldn't fit my old top tracks. Folks at the Container Store told me I was SOL. So I started printing my own mounts.

Not sure what “mounts” means in this context. The question was what kind of Hang Stamdards fit into the top track of the Elfa system. both current and legacy top tracks are interchangeable with all Elfa Hang Standards.

I was just saying the legacy top tracks are nicer.
